Merging of Fagg’s Mitre 10 (Geelong) and G. Gay & Co. Mitre 10 (Ballarat) Creates a Strong Alliance
Fagg’s Mitre 10 and G. Gay & Co. Mitre 10 are pleased to announce their upcoming merger, forming an exciting partnership that will strengthen their position in the building supply industry. This strategic alliance brings together two well-established and respected businesses, leveraging their combined expertise, resources, and commitment to exceptional customer service.
The merger between Fagg’s and G. Gay & Co. represents a significant milestone for both companies. By combining their operations, the newly formed entity will enhance their ability to serve customers in Geelong, Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh and surrounding regions, providing a wider range of products, increased stock availability, and improved accessibility.
With the merger, the united company (Fagg’s Group Pty Ltd) aims to expand their product lines, including timber, construction materials, plaster, power tools, hardware, gardening supplies, and much more. With a combined store network of eight stores and over 400 locally employed staff, customers will benefit from an enhanced shopping experience with improved in-store layouts, updated digital platforms, and an increased focus on innovation. The improved customer experience will also provide access to a wide range of products and services across a broad geography area, through a single Trade account.
